Getting Started with 2FA
- Log in to your ValuTel account
- Go to “Account Security”
- Select “Enable Two-Factor Authentication”
- Enter and verify your mobile number
- Start receiving security codes via SMS
Common Issues & Solutions
Not Receiving Codes?
- Check your mobile signal
- Ensure your number is correctly registered
- Wait 2 minutes and request a new code
- Check your spam/junk folders
Code Not Working?
- Codes expire after 5 minutes
- Enter the most recently received code
- Ensure you’re entering all 6 digits
Changed Your Phone Number?
- Log in using backup method
- Update your mobile number in Security Settings
- Verify the new number with a test code
Alternative Verification Methods
If you can’t receive SMS codes:
- Use authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy)
- Set up backup email verification
- Contact support for account recovery options
Security Tips
- Never share verification codes
- Update your mobile number promptly if it changes
- Report suspicious messages to support immediately
