Getting Started with 2FA

  1. Log in to your ValuTel account
  2. Go to “Account Security”
  3. Select “Enable Two-Factor Authentication”
  4. Enter and verify your mobile number
  5. Start receiving security codes via SMS

Common Issues & Solutions

Not Receiving Codes?

  • Check your mobile signal
  • Ensure your number is correctly registered
  • Wait 2 minutes and request a new code
  • Check your spam/junk folders

Code Not Working?

  • Codes expire after 5 minutes
  • Enter the most recently received code
  • Ensure you’re entering all 6 digits

Changed Your Phone Number?

  1. Log in using backup method
  2. Update your mobile number in Security Settings
  3. Verify the new number with a test code

Alternative Verification Methods

If you can’t receive SMS codes:

  • Use authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy)
  • Set up backup email verification
  • Contact support for account recovery options

Security Tips

  • Never share verification codes
  • Update your mobile number promptly if it changes
  • Report suspicious messages to support immediately
