VALUTEL SIGNS THE FCC’S KEEP AMERICA CONNECTED PLEDGE
Albuquerque, March 17th, 2020 – Yesterday, ValuTel’S President, Tim Keefer, signed the FCC’s Keep American Connected Pledge, in full understanding of the responsibilities telecommunication companies have in supporting the community during the coronavirus pandemic. Keefer stated, “At ValuTel, we are committed to providing stable, efficient telecommunication services to businesses and organizations across the country. During this difficult, uncertain time, we are even more committed to supporting our business community and doing our part to keep America connected”.
ValuTel pledges for the next 60 days to:
(1) not terminate service to any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic;
(2) waive any late fees that any residential or small business customers incur because of their economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic; and
(3) open its Wi-Fi hotspots to any American who needs them.
ValuTel is one of the latest companies to join the growing list of telecom service providers that have signed the pledge.
