Can I use a desk phone with ValuTel?
Absolutely. While many customers find that they can reduce their need for physical desk phones with our soft phone and mobile apps, ValuTel does support a wide variety of SIP-based phones. Can I keep my existing phone numbers when switching to ValuTel?
Yes, you sure can. ValuTel ports your numbers to our service for free. We can also generate numbers for you including vanity numbers, toll-free numbers, international numbers and direct inbound dialed (DID) numbers.
How much does a Toll-Free Number cost?
If you’re looking for toll-free numbers for lines like Sales and Support, you can add as many as you want. Toll Free numbers start at $2.95/month plus $.02/minute1. To generate a vanity number such as 1-800-YourBiz, there is a setup fee of $24.99 with the monthly service fee of $2.95 and applicable rates after that.
Do you support faxing?
We sure do. All of our business plans support outbound faxing though our Desktop Communicator application. For inbound faxes service, Fax-to-Email is add on service we can put on any account or you can have as a standalone service. If you’re looking for faxing options, get in touch with us and we’ll go over all the details.
Can ValuTel set up my service the same as it is now?
We sure can. In fact, when switching to ValuTel, by providing a log-in to your existing VoIP account, we can easily configure your ValuTel PBX to be very similar, if not exactly, like your existing VoIP PBX account, including extension information, direct numbers, auto-attendants and most other programming.
Am I signing up under a contract?
No, not if you don’t want to. There’s no term contracts with our Standard and Professional plans. You have a choice though in pricing options. Depending on your business needs, you can dictate the terms and choose between our month-to-month or annual payment plan. There is a 1 year contract with annual payment plans, but we believe you’ll love ValuTel so much that you’ll be interested in saving even more money with the annual plan. With the month-to-month option, you have the flexibility to cancel at any time.
