1. Service Description

ValuTel’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) service provides enhanced security for your account by requiring both your password and a one-time verification code sent via SMS to your registered mobile number.

2. User Consent

By enabling 2FA, you agree to:

  • Receive automated SMS messages containing security codes
  • Pay any standard carrier message fees that may apply
  • Keep your registered mobile number current in your account settings

3. Security Responsibilities

You acknowledge that:

  • Verification codes are for your personal use only
  • Sharing codes compromises your account security
  • ValuTel will never ask you for your verification code via phone, email, or text

4. Delivery Guarantees

While we strive for 100% deliverability:

  • Message delivery depends on your carrier’s service
  • Network issues may occasionally delay delivery
  • Alternative authentication methods are available if SMS fails

5. Opting Out

You may disable 2FA at any time by:

  1. Logging into your ValuTel account
  2. Navigating to Security Settings
  3. Selecting “Disable Two-Factor Authentication”
